Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Manager based in North Africa to lead our recruitment efforts in the region. This individual will be instrumental in sourcing and hiring top-tier technical talent in a highly competitive industry. The role encompasses drafting job descriptions, promoting positions, coordinating interviews, conducting initial screening calls, checking references, and supporting HR operations during non-hiring periods.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Job Description Development: Collaborate with hiring managers to craft comprehensive job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements and company culture.​

  • Position Promotion: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to advertise open positions and attract qualified candidates.​

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and manage interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and interviewers.​

  • Initial Screening: Conduct first-round screening calls to assess candidate suitability, technical proficiency, and cultural fit.​

  • Reference Checks: Perform thorough reference checks to validate candidate qualifications and past performance.​

  • HR Operations Support: Assist the COO with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and policy development, especially during periods when recruitment activities are minimal.​

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition, preferably within the technology sector.​

  • Language Proficiency: High proficiency in English is essential; proficiency in French or Arabic is advantageous.​

  • Technical Recruitment Expertise: Proven track record in sourcing and hiring technical talent, such as software engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists.​

  • Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the North African talent market, including cultural nuances and employment regulations.​

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.​

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.​

  • HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR best practices and experience in supporting HR operations.​
